Mughal-e-Azam is considered to be a cult classic. With the songs, the grandeur, the dialogues, the costumes and the epic romance between Anarkali and Salim, the film’s legendary status remains untouched. 60 years back on 5th August, the film released on the big screen and forever changed the Indian cinema canvas. In this episode of Get To Know, Rohini and Akshay re-introduce the film and its epic stature and tell us why it continues to rule and inspire Indian storytelling.
