Khidkya (Window) – Prose Poetry

The short film is a poetic narration that uses windows as metaphors to touch upon the various moods and seasons of human existence. With an endearing connection between each window and the situation it has come to stand for, the narrative allows itself to unfold. From the highs and lows of life to the echoes of loneliness and friendship, from tears and laughter to relationships and bonds, both transitory and eternal, the windows have stayed quiet witnesses to all. The silent observers watching from the side-lines, and that indeed is what Khidakya is an ode to – sharing the stories of several windows and their participation in the various vagaries of life.
